Noah Lyles ruled the roost in the men's campaign, while Shaunae Miller-Uibo had to battle off a whole host of pretenders to defend her crown. We take a look back at some of the best performances of the 200m in last summer's IAAF Diamond League.

Having taken the Diamond Trophy in Zürich the year before, Lyles was in no mood to surrender it this season as he made the transition from budding talent to rising superstar. Bookending the Road To The Final with two wins apiece, Lyles made impressively short work of World Champion Ramil Guliyev in Birmingham, and by the time Zürich rolled around again, it was almost inevitable that he would get his hands on the Diamond Trophy.

Miller-Uibo, meanwhile, was twice taken to the wire by rising British star Dina Asher-Smith - in Rabat and Birmingham - and faced further competition from Marie-Josée Ta Lou, who was unlucky not to come away with a Diamond Trophy after a very fine season. Miller-Uibo's calibre carried her through, however, leaving the rest of the field trailing in her wake as she surged over the line in Brussels to defend her title.
