The Shanghai/Keqiao Diamond League, is part of the Diamond League series. The competition is made up of 32 Diamond disciplines and 15 meetings. Shanghai/Keqiao Diamond League is one of the 15 meets and together they make the Road to The Final. 

Shanghai now changed to Shanghai/Keqiao with a newly rebuilt stadium. However, Shanghai remains historically linked and has for many years been known as the Chinese city that is home to one athlete - former 110m Hurdles World Record holder and Olympic and World Champion Liu Xiang. That is now changing, as all international track and field stars have been visiting the Wanda Diamond League Shanghai.
