A hamstring injury forces her to postpone the start of her season. During her training camp in the USA she was able to lay a solid foundation for the outdoor season, but she missed the competition specific training due to the hamstring injury. Her medical team advised her to postpone her season start. While this is disappointing, she is now rehabbing and returns to competition in June.
‘I am disappointed at the moment, everyone starts the Olympic season this month and I have to postpone my season start. On the other hand I know I have to take one step back now to be able to be fit in Rio de Janeiro.’
