We are less than 100 days away from the start of the Diamond League season in Doha. And that means our preparations are in full swing for an incredible edition of the Shanghai Diamond League as the second meeting of the season. On Saturday, May 16, Shanghai will host the next stop of the Diamond League as the first meeting in China for the 2026 season. We are excited to announce that this year the event returns to Keqiao.
A Full Day of Competition
Athletes from around the world will compete in an exciting range of events filled with speed, endurance, jumps and throws. We will be announcing the first star athletes in the coming weeks!

The Road to the Final
Shanghai sits early in the 2026 Diamond League calendar making it an important meet for athletes to ensure a strong start of the season. The Diamond League includes 15 meetings across Asia, Africa, Europe and North America. The season ends with the two-day Final in Brussels on 4–5 September 2026.
